a little bit about me...

My name is Katrina Youngman. I am a web designer/software developer from Townsville, Australia. I believe in integrating functionallity with design to create applications and websites that look good and work.

I have a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Information Technology from James Cook University and one day hope to travel overseas and see what the rest of the world has to offer.

My interests include software development (Java, PHP, Ruby on Rails, AJAX), web design, technology, travel, movies and learning new things. My goals include traveling the world, making a difference, learning and experiencing as much as I can, getting fit and enjoying life.

Currently, in my spare time, I am studying Ruby on Rails, user interface design, information architecture, dashboard design, and the GTD principles.
